Start with the Apple Watch You Already Own
Before buying a case, confirm that the Watch powers on, charges normally and runs the apps or services you want to use. Battery life, storage and independent connectivity come from the Apple Watch itself and vary by model, condition and setup.
RePod does not turn every Apple Watch into a standalone phone. Calls, messages and data away from an iPhone depend on the Watch model, an active compatible cellular plan, carrier support and region. GPS-only models can still support downloaded music and other available offline tasks.
Useful Second-Life Scenarios
- Downloaded audio: listen to music, podcasts or audiobooks that your Watch and apps support, paired with compatible Bluetooth headphones.
- Short phone-free moments: carry a smaller device for a walk, workout or errand when the features available on your Watch are enough.

Check Battery Health and Settings
An older Watch may have reduced battery capacity. RePod does not repair or extend the battery by itself, so check Battery Health and test the Watch for your normal routine before relying on it away from a charger.
Wrist Detection can remain on or be turned off. Changing it affects security and health features, so review Apple's current guidance before changing the setting.
